Robin Cory is a passionate coach, facilitator and strategist and brings a decade of experience working with organizations, collaboratives and leaders to increase their social impact. She is the co-founder of Colbeck Strategic Advisors, a firm that supports Canadian social purpose organizations. Robin gets lit up by helping organizations clarify the impact they seek and develop a clear pathway to get there. She takes an intentional equity and social justice lens in her approach to developing strategy. The missions of her clients have covered a breadth of issue areas, with an emphasis on human and social services. Robin has also developed a strong niche in coaching and advising both public and private foundations.
Prior to her work with Colbeck, Robin’s background focused on the intersection of business and social impact, demonstrated by her experience as Project Manager for the Canadian Task Force on Social Finance (at Social Innovation Generation), as the Leader of the PricewaterhouseCoopers Canada Foundation, and as one of the first team members of the Global Leadership and Diversity group at Goldman Sachs in New York.
She has completed her training as a coach with the Coach Training Institute and is a certified facilitator through Voltage Control. She is a passionate Visions of Science Board member and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. Robin is also the proud mom of three teenagers!
