Anita Taleski is a Senior Manager in the Strategy & Digital group at KPMG in Canada. Her responsibilities encompass strategy development and execution of KPMG’s firmwide initiatives, with a particular emphasis on technology and the digital space. Anita is passionate about empowering women and fostering community and has made significant contributions in the evolution and development of the KPMG Women in Technology Community.

 

Over the past four years, Anita has made strides in promoting gender diversity within the tech industry. Collaborating with the KPMG Impact team, she contributed to and supported The King's Trust Canada’s Young Women in Tech program. Anita mobilized women who work in technology at KPMG to enable skills trainings, mentoring and role modelling for the young women participating in the program.

The session will highlight the synergies between KPMG's 10 by 30 commitment and TKTC's goal of reaching 100,000 youth over the next decade, showcasing how their shared objectives led to the creation of impactful initiatives like the Young Women in Tech program. Panelists will discuss the multifaceted benefits of the collaboration, including why they developed a program series specifically targeted to young women in tech and how both organizations are leveraging their resources, knowledge and skills to advance the program. You will also hear about the broader impact programs like these can have on corporate culture and community engagement. The discussion aims to provide insights into creating successful collaborations that not only address social challenges but also foster an inclusive and supportive environment for the next generation of leaders.
