Social Purpose Business & Community Resilience

Main Room

We come together at a time of nearly unprecedented political and economic upheaval. Leaders in the business, social, and public sectors are struggling to remain proactive and agile in the face of the latest political whims on the world stage, rapidly shifting markets, and worried staff and customers. In this 'fireside chat,' social purpose expert Mike Rowlands will be joined by Philip Lozano of Calgary's own Be Local and Charla Vall, Consulting Director for Junxion Strategy to share insights into the role of local, social purpose business in bolstering community resilience. They'll draw insights and lessons that are informative across sectors and for organizations at all points of scale. By uniting around a shared purpose and focusing on human and planetary wellbeing, companies are finding ways to thrive amid complexity.
